Sanjay Jha, one of the most trusted confidants of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar after joining Janata Dal United from Bharatiya Janata Party, has written his feelings on social media after being made the Rajya Sabha candidate by the party. He is also considered the architect of JDU’s latest alliance with BJP. After his name did not appear in the first list of ministers at the time of swearing-in of the new government on January 28, speculations were being made that JDU has made some big plans for him. Now when JDU declared him the party’s candidate for Rajya Sabha, he has written his heartfelt feelings towards the Chief Minister and the people of Bihar on social media.

“Today is a very special day, a humbling day! It is a great honor to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha by the Honorable Chief Minister. I am overwhelmed and eternally grateful. I am grateful to our party, all our leaders and lakhs of workers for showering upon me I also express my gratitude for your unwavering trust and for entrusting me with your immense affection and love.
While being happy, I also understand the huge responsibility that comes with this prestigious task of being the voice of Bihar and our people in the upper house of the Parliament of India. It is an honor to be nominated for this August House.
